I keep coming back to Ebay. Usually eBay is a Buyers Market ie favors the Buyer so I look for cheap items on eBay to resell on Amazon etc. So how to spot bargains and why do they exist?

Poorly listed: Poor description, no photos and in the wrong category

How To: Train yourself to look for these, to look at the easy to ignore listings!

Bad Timing: Auctions that terminate at a bad time eg early in the morning

How To: Use a SniperProgram to program a LAST MINUTE Bid such as http://www.justsnipe.com/

Misspelt: This is very bad for the seller as most items are found by searching for say blackberry (so blackbery has no chance)

How To: Use a Misspelling website such as http://www.fatfingers.co.uk/

Unlucky: some good items just don’t get bids (Ironically items with lots of bids attract other bidders)

How To: Keep WatchingAuctions Ending Soon

Low Buy-It-Now (BIN): Some people don’t understand BINs and use them as a kind of Minimum Price

How To: Search for Newly Listed Items

You can only do this for a limited number of items where you know their actual value, and you need to know that the items are easy to resell. Then you have to scan eBay frequentlyuntil you spot an opportunity!
