Martin Avis’s London Lunches for Internet Marketers
Mild-mannered Martin Avis has a huge following in the UK with his Kick Start newsletter and now organizes regular London Lunches for Internet Marketers. These are usually held in the Strand Palace Hotel for a maximum of 30 people. People travel from Holland and Cyprus just to come. Many of the UK big names join these lunches. I attended today’s September meet and renewed acquaintance with Kevin Polley, and Pearson Brown and met Sarah Staar (note that I avoided Rising Star pun). In fact you don’t get time to meet everyone, but you always learn something new with these face to face meetings. Hello Martin
Have you stopped Kickstart, or is my spam filter swallowing it? Your Rotary Christmas moneymaker was a great idea. Yes, I did buy it.
Now second reason for contacting you. It’s an ethical problem created by Kez(NME) in North London. Below is the e-mail I have sent. I am at a loss as to what else I can do. I’m asking your advice because i know that you are ‘squeaky clean’.

When I purchased MY LIST BLOG from you last year, the sales page said that only 20 would be sold.
Why then are you using the same sales page to sell the same sites again? Hardly ethical is it?
Not only that, at the time I purchased I asked if I could use my own hosting. The answer was NO.
Now I see you are offering that option for your sites and I have already paid more than the difference between your hosting and self hosting. In my book that is adding insult to injury.
